Why Preeti Text Breaks When You Share It
Preeti is the most widely used Nepali typing font, but it is a legacy ASCII font — not Unicode. That means each Roman keystroke is simply mapped to a Devanagari glyph that only displays correctly while the Preeti font is installed. Send that text to someone on a phone, paste it into a website, or open it on a computer without Preeti, and it turns into scrambled English letters.
